Wipro awarded five-year Application Management and Service Integration & Management contract

One of the leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company, Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), today, announced that it won an Application Management (AMS) and Services Integration & Management (SIAM) contract from Fortum, which is one of the leading clean-energy companies, headquartered in Espoo, Finland.

The five year agreement part states that Wipro will manage Fortum’s application portfolio with hundreds of applications for 11,500+ users in 18 countries and provide 24/7 support for business-critical applications. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and automation platform, Wipro HOLMES, Wipro will enable process automation for enhanced end-user experience. Additionally, Wipro’s Service Integration & Management (SIAM) transformation solution will help Fortum consolidate and govern its multi-supplier eco-system.

In the last trading in BSE, WIPRO recorded share at Rs. 343.25, in comparison to the previous close of Rs. 339.55. The shares traded during the day total to 339605 in over 5256 trades.

Hitting an intraday high of Rs. 346.4 and intraday low of Rs. 338.75, the stock’s net turnover during the day was Rs. 116472933.
